A leading US publishing firm is looking to hire an Asia Pacific sales representative for their Hong Kong office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sales activities, he/she will be meeting partners and marketing heads at professional service firms to explore opportunities for revenue growth in Asia.
Responsibilities
- Selling a range of company’s products across Asian countries primarily to professional service & law firms
- Sales pitching at C-suite levels
- Make regular travel across the region, face to face meetings
- Provide regular reports and responsible for continuous forecasting of revenues
- Develop new revenue streams and relate marketing information to grow Asia revenue
- If job expectations are met, the incumbent will have to build and manage a sales team
Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in sales in B 2 B publishing preferable but not essential
- Experience with research and event sales are also welcome to apply
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills in English
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
- Time management and be able to meet deadlines
